BOLTS
For a long time now, bolts with their elegant threads, their pretty hexagonal heads (my favorites!) and free-spinning washers have been turning my head.
Color and light have no effect on them, nor water or air. No matter what happens, they tight!
Nothing escapes the bolts. Washers and nuts are their accomplices. Inseparable, they invite and associate, then tighten, secure and grip, assembling and their hold through pressure; until suffocation.
Ah, their rough, vigorous appearance, theirtotal lack of mood, their flawless mechanics, their calm, their constancy in containing everything.
I adore that simple, yet effective tightening that ensures nothing comes loose anymore, one turn, two turns and voila! All tight! I've got you, you've got me…..
In the shadow of your boxes, you wait your turn, impassive, silent, lined up as if on parade. Nothing escapes you, you bridle, join and maintain, that's your role and you fulfill it admirably.
